Cupids peperomia in its natural habitat is an epiphytic vine that can climb trees around it. Its previous taxonomic name Peperomia scandens means sprawling or crawling describing its habit/form. Coming from South and Central America and Mexico this plant is a fast grower given the right conditions. Given its habitat under the tree canopy, it prefers semi-shade making it great for hanging baskets and as a houseplant.
