Quick Facts
Common Names: Swedish Ivy, Money Plant,
Latin Name: Plectranthus verticillatus
This glossy green ovular leaf is a perennial ground cover that prefers partial shade. The stems have root initials that root readily upon touching the soil which makes them easy to propagate. With opposite leaf arrangements, the square stems produce dainty white flower stalks mainly in spring and fall. This plant can produce dense foliage and makes for amazing hanging baskets and groundcover.
